Types of Advertising

Currently there are two ways to advertise on the DC ParentsPage.

  1. Banner Ads
  2. Full Page Ads

You may begin your ad contract on any date and it may be as long or short as you want. The minimum is one week.

I can have banner ads up in one day after receiving your graphics. The graphics on the page must be in GIF or JPEG format, at most 400x60 pixels, and less than 15k in size. Your contract allows you to run as many different graphics in your ad space as you like, and you may change them at any time during the contract.

Banner Advertising. You can target banner ads to a specific page or subject area on my pages. Your own graphic banner, with link to your site, on a relevant page will be in place. The pricing for Banner Advertising is on the Order Form.

 

Full Page Advertising. You will have a dedicated page to a full ad, a 80 by 80 pixel GIF or JPG "thumbnail" image (screen or logo) and a brief description on an advertiser's Sponsor Page. The "thumbnail" will link to a full page ad. The full page advertisement may take one of three forms:

  1. Angela Connelly will design an one page advertisement based upon the images and text received from the advertiser;
  2. The advertiser will create an one page advertisement and send the page and images OR the URL to Angela Connelly;
  3. The advertiser may request that the link from the thumbnail on the Sponsor page point to the advertiser's home page.
Great for providing more than just a blurb about your company. The minimum time for Full Page Advertising is one week. The pricing for Full Page Advertising is on the Order Form.
